- Base nBox: nBox with ntop and PF_RING acceleration (no NetFlow support). This is the ideal machine for those users who need an ntop+PF_RING turn-key box.
- Standard nBox: the same as the base nBox with accelerated nProbe for NetFlow flow generation.

All nBox include:
- All nBoxes are characterized with typical network monitoring conditions. All speeds and performances have been calculated in unlucky conditions (i.e. using small packets), so in general their performance is better than the one reported.
- PF_RING 3.9.x featuring in-kernel packet acceleration and parsing
- nProbe 5.x Pro featuring direct PF_RING access (not via libpcap) for extreme application speed, not available in the open-source version.
